Hey everybody! This is Cori, the brains behind Klavier Gavin for gyakusai_rp. I may be a rock star, but I couldn't do it without my fans! But if you're not a fan, that's fine, too. Either way, I want to hear from you. How's my driving? Do you love my interpretation of Klavier? Hate him? Love to hate him? I'm open to suggestions if you think I need to improve, but of course, I also take fan mail!

This forum can also serve as a dropbox for scene suggestions. As you see above, I'm keeping a to-do list of logs I want to write, and I can only hope I never reach the end of the list. If there's something you would love to see Klavier do, suggest it here and I'll see if I can make it happen, for the fans!

And YES. Snark must happen! Maybe Ema ends up on Klavier's trail because Klav's feet happened to be shod by the same German designer as Edgeworth's, and she picks up the wrong trail while STALKING MR EDGEWORTH.

Pardon my nitpicking, but as a writer I pay a lot of attention to a character's personal voice so I'm curious -- why does your Klavier use so much German, and why doesn't he use contractions? In the game, he only really uses "herr"...but that's not a big deal. More importantly he uses contractions in the game, making him sound not quite so foreign as your Klavier.

I'm glad to have your input! I try to be careful about character voices myself, but I admit I'm winging Klavier's based on memories and supposition. I hadn't yet reached the flashback trial in AJ when I set it aside for AAI, so I drew from the fact that twenty-four year old Klav does use limited contractions, and still has a slightly foreign syntax. I decided to regress that voice, so as to show the progress he makes after he immigrates, but with the canon sample of his seventeen year old speech dated a mere two weeks away, I definitely need to review it now and do some slight adjustments. Thanks for pointing that out!
